  Dawn International School

DIS is a unique school. Unique because the people who manage it, the parents, know what’s best for the children. With the active, hands on expertise of some of the finest talents in the field of education in the region, both in academics and administration, this unique school will definitely prove its mettle in a matter of few months.

The ideals and visions they have, prompted by the dictates of a dedicated and dynamic team of parents, are translated into action in “Dawn International School”, in Kochi. The school follows ICSE/ISC syllabus, after having experimented with other streams, an offshoot of Cambridge University – preparing the children for Indian school leaving certificate examination.

The motto of the school as rightly stated in our logo is “Formation, Information and Transformation”. We aim at to mould children under Dawn school into wholesome personalities. That’s the reason why we give equal importance and emphasis to arts and academics. Not only the inborn talents are identified at the young age, they are made to blossom under our care through performing arts. Children are taught yoga, western music, classical music, bharathanatiyam, guitar, tabala, veena, organ, etc. Children are trained in public speaking, debates, quiz etc. The school offers Gujarati & French apart form Hindi and Malayalam. The emphasis is generally on athletics and games and we have adequate facilities set apart for the physical well being of the students.

“Knowledge is Power”
The process of human evolution was based on two counts. Firstly it was genetic in nature- from amoeba to man. Secondly it was based on cultural progress. The latter was made possible because man found the use of words to transmit his ideas and experiences with others. It is called communication. Man communicates his ideas and knowledge he gained with others across time and space, as he is able to write.
